cubt History
California University of Business and Technology (CUBT) was conceptualized in 1990, when its founder had observed many “forgotten” students of high potential who had been denied completion of their degree dreams due numerous factors beyond their control. In 1996, having received approval by the California Bureau for Private Post-Secondary and Vocational Education, CUBT became a reality in providing innovative, university-level education for professional degrees. In 2000, CUBT attained approval by federal law to enroll international students from over forty-five countries worldwide. At CUBT, students can achieve their personal, educational and professional goals and objectives within a reasonable period of time.

Academic Recognition
California University of Business and Technology (CUBT) is granted institutional approval by the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education, State of California. All of the Degree Programs offered by CUBT have been reviewed, evaluated and approved pursuant to The Private Postsecondary and Education Act of 2009. The Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education serves as the State Agency responsible for approval and regulation of all private postsecondary degree – granting and vocational schools in California. State approval is certification that an institution has met minimum statutory standards for integrity, fiscal stability and educational quality, including the offering of bona fide instruction by qualified faculty and appropriate assessment of student’s achievement prior to, during, and at the end of its program.
California University of Business and Technology (CUBT) is authorized under federal law to enroll nonimmigrant alien students (issuing I-20 for student visas).
